Verizon Launches Six New HD Channels

Verizon has launched six new high-definition channels to its Verizon’s FiOS TV line-up. Verizon is joining with Entertainment Studios to launch six HD channels. Entertainment Studios is the largest independent producer and distributor of first-run syndicated television programming for broadcast television stations. The new HD channels to be added are:

Cars.TV

Comedy.TV

ES.TV

MyDestination.TV

Pets.TV and

Recipe.TV

Terry Denson, vice president – FiOS TV content and programming said “The addition of these channels helps us to continue our commitment to offer FiOS TV customers the best in HD programming, with razor-sharp picture-and-sound quality that only FiOS delivers, coupled with the delivery of six new channels only available to FiOS customers, we’re offering service and variety that cable can’t match.”
