PBS Engage Launches Live Online Chats on Sept. 30
PBS Engage, a social media initiative of PBS, has announced the launch of live online chats, which will allow viewers to talk directly with the award-winning content owners on PBS. Viewers can chat and ask questions with journalists, filmmakers, producers and other content owners and get their answers on the content available on PBS. PBS Engage’s first Live Chat will start on Sept. 30 at 1 PM ET and will run for an hour and will be hosted by NewsHour Senior Correspondent Judy Woodruff.
Jason Seiken, senior vice president, PBS Interactive said “We want to connect our growing and diverse audience to the people who create the PBS content they love, That’s what PBS Engage is all about: Creating new ways to make our online service their service.”
