Live Coverage Of 2009 U.S. Women’s Open On NBC Sports

NBC Sports has announced that it will bring a live coverage of the United States Women’s Open from Saucon Valley Country Club’s Old Course in Bethlehem, Pa., Saturday and Sunday, 3-6 p.m. ET. Inbee Park will play to defend her title and she will be challenged by past champions that include:

Christie Kerr – 2007 Champion

Birdie Kim – 2005

Laura Davies – 1987

Julie Inkster – 1999, 2002

Meg Mallon – 1991, 2004

Se Ri Pak – 1998

Karrie Webb – 2000, 2001

Other participants in the 2009 U.S. Women’s Open also include Lorena Ochoa, Kristy McPherson, Morgan Pressel and Paula Creamer.

NBC’s coverage will be hosted by Dan Hicks, Johnny Miller and Dottie Pepper. Gary Koch will be tower reporter and Roger Maltbie, LPGA players Jane Crafter and Kay Cockerill will be course reporters.
