Inside the NFL in HD on ShowTime on Sept. 10

The weekly sports show ‘Inside the NFL’ that focuses on the National Football League produced by NFL Films which finished a several-year-long run on HBO, this year will switch to Showtime this season. Showtime will broadcast the ‘Inside the NFL’ in high-definition. ‘Inside the NFL’ will be broadcasted at 9 p.m. Wednesdays starting September 10 and running through February 11 in HD. Matthew C. Blank, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Showtime Networks, Inc. and Sean McManus, President, CBS News and Sports and Executive Producer announced that James Brown, Phil Simms and Cris Collinsworth will host INSIDE THE NFL when the series launches this September on SHOWTIME.

Inside the NFL will be hosted by Cris Collinsworth of NBC and will be joined by Phil Simms and James Brown from CBS Sports. The long-running HBO show while moving to Showtime many changes are expected to the show. After the launch of the show on Showtime on Sept. 10, the network plans to tape the show on Wednesdays and broadcast it Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET which will be an hour earlier than HBO used to air it. It’s a perfect fit with our original scripted series and sports programming.”
