ESPN Enters Deal With GolTV To Cover Spain’s Football League “La Liga”
ESPN has reached an agreement with GolTV to broadcast Spain’s La Liga in the USA. The television network dedicated fully to soccer games, 24/7 in the United States, GolTV has exclusive Spanish and English-language multimedia rights to broadcast Spain’s La Liga. ESPN and GolTV will share coverage of Spain’s La Liga football leagues.
This agreement between ESPN and GolTV will allow ESPN to carry many La Liga games. GolTV will deliver 120 live soccer games in English and Spanish and ESPN Deportes will deliver live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of more than 95 La Liga regular-season matches.
ESPN’s live sports broadband network, ESPN360.com will stream 114 matches, including simulcast of all 95 ESPN Deportes matches live in English. ESPN Deportes and ESPN360.com also to provide coverage of Spain’s domestic cup tournament Copa del Rey.
