DirecTV Launches Local HD Programming in Beaumont-Port Arthur, Texas

DirecTV has announced the launch of local high-definition programming to its subscribers in the Beaumont-Port Arthur, Texas on April 8. DirecTV now offers local HD broadcast channels in 121 cities, representing more than 88 percent of U.S. TV households. Following networks are available in HD:

KBMT/ABC

KFDM/CBS and

KBTV/FOX

DirecTV subscribers must have H20 or H21 HD receiver or an HR20 or HR21 DIRECTV Plus HD DVR and a Ka/Ku band dish to receive this local broadcast
channels.
